July 23

I woke up this morning, and to my surprise, I had lost 3 pounds. That’s over 1 per day! I thought to myself “that’s the first time that’s happened.” And it has been, actually! I’m not complaining, though. I took my drops with renewed vigor and savored them in my mouth. . . Ok, not really, but I had a new, almost rejuvenated appreciation for this diet. Oh, to be thin again!

I am also looking at enrolling in a fitness class down at a gym nearby. They offer some classes on other exercises, as well as meditative exercises. I think these might be interesting to take, and will help me be more well-rounded and broad in my interests. It can’t hurt to expand one’s horizons, right? Then again, that’s probably what the Roanoke Colony thought before they disappeared off the face of the earth. I won’t mind if the fat keeps disappearing, though. That’s a good thing.

Does anyone know of any ideas for other exercises that I can do that aren’t too hard? I’m not a runner by any means at this point, and I am not sure I really want to try it. I would much rather have less active exercises that are still kind of exerting. I’ve thought about carrying weights and just walking on the treadmill, but I don’t savor the idea of walking around and going nowhere. It’s pretty hot to go outside and do that sort of thing, too. Anyway, ideas? Ciao!
