Wow, my blogs have been really sporadic! Well, here’s the update on my last week and day or so. I weighed myself on Monday, and I weighed 283, so a pound a day was my weight loss. I weighed myself today, and I weighed 281, so half a pound a day. That’s. . .kind of sad. But I’ve broken the 40 pound mark. I’ve lost 40 pounds in a little less than two months! I’m at 280, and the last time I was anywhere close to that was 3 years ago. I’ve been in the 300 to 320 pound range for the past 3 years, and I’ve finally brought it back down to a more realistic weight. I’m 100 pounds away from where I want to be, and although I am not going to stay on the diet long enough to go that far, I will come back to it after a while of recuperation and try to get even closer. Every little bit counts as far as I am concerned.
One thing that I am also SO thankful for is the ability for me to not have to undergo weight loss surgery. What gal out there wants an ugly scar? I’m no exception! But in all reality, it’s way too expensive, too. This has literally saved my life in more ways than one, and I can look better, feel better, and tuck a few extra dollars away that I would have spent on a weight loss surgery. Although I wasn’t sure how this HCG would really work at first, I now have complete faith in it and in Radiant MedSpa. But anyway, just glad to be thinner and have saved the money! Talk to you all later ladies and gents. . .

I woke up this morning, and to my surprise, I had lost 3 pounds. That’s over 1 per day! I thought to myself “that’s the first time that’s happened.” And it has been, actually! I’m not complaining, though. I took my drops with renewed vigor and savored them in my mouth. . . Ok, not really, but I had a new, almost rejuvenated appreciation for this diet. Oh, to be thin again!
I am also looking at enrolling in a fitness class down at a gym nearby. They offer some classes on other exercises, as well as meditative exercises. I think these might be interesting to take, and will help me be more well-rounded and broad in my interests. It can’t hurt to expand one’s horizons, right? Then again, that’s probably what the Roanoke Colony thought before they disappeared off the face of the earth. I won’t mind if the fat keeps disappearing, though. That’s a good thing.
Does anyone know of any ideas for other exercises that I can do that aren’t too hard? I’m not a runner by any means at this point, and I am not sure I really want to try it. I would much rather have less active exercises that are still kind of exerting. I’ve thought about carrying weights and just walking on the treadmill, but I don’t savor the idea of walking around and going nowhere. It’s pretty hot to go outside and do that sort of thing, too. Anyway, ideas? Ciao!

It’s been a while since I posted! I went down to Radiant MedSpa today. I am finally over this cold, so I felt well enough to head on down there. I’ve found out that there are others out there who have been losing much faster than I have been. I was surprised to find out that there are some who can lose even more weight -- closer to 30 pounds in about 30 days. I’m at 30 pounds over the course of a month and a half or so. Still, that’s not bad, and I am excited to see a thinner me starting to appear underneath all my flub. We all have to deal with that, right girls?
I went grocery shopping today, too. I bought almost nothing but health foods and natural foods. It’s probably getting to my hubby, but it’s hard enough for me to get food at the store without getting him his “snack” food. So he’ll have to live.
In the meantime, I am still on this 500 calorie diet. It’s not so bad, but I have had some really bad hunger cravings in the last couple weeks. They come and go, but don’t last too long. For now I will be patient and watch as the pounds continue to “roll” off.

It’s been five more days, but I only lost 1 more pound. I got sick with a cold and missed a day or two with the treatment. Slept all day in bed instead! Between that and an eating craving that I had as I was getting better, I think it messed me up a bit. So total, I’m at 295 pounds, and have lost 25 pounds in just over a month. I decided I want to track my progress each time I post a blog, so I started an account on Daily Burn. It’s free, and it works really nice. I set a goal (180 for now) and can watch as I get closer to it. It’s a good motivator (although Radiant’s program is so easy, I don’t know what for!) and hopefully will help me see how much I am losing per month. I also mentioned talking to a dietician to help plan my meals and diet better. I finally started looking today to see if there were any good ones out there. I might call one of them sometime this next week. I am not sure I want someone hunting through my life when I am already losing weight so easily! On a side note, if any of you guys or gals out there have an idea for widgets that I can add to my page, I would love it! Maybe some tips or something to help me out on my weight loss expedition. Ciao girls!

Total weight lost: 24 pounds. Current weight: 296 pounds. That’s so much better than what I was at. Now that I have broken the 300 mark I am starting to look at new clothes. Great excuse to throw some cute shoes in the cart, too, right? ;) I am heading down to Ross in a little bit to do that. I had another meeting with Radiant today, too. That was nice to go to. As usual, they were friendly and checked up on how my weight loss program was doing. I told them that in the 8 years I have been trying to lose weight, this has been the most effective and hassle-free program yet!
I headed out again to hang with the girls and do some more aerobic exercises. My friend down at the Salon actually went to Radiant’s website and checked out their products and program, too. It’s really exciting to see such a change in my weight and realize that other people can do the exact same thing. I’ve also had a lot of friends visiting my blog lately and emailing me about my success so far. Yes, I am extremely happy about how the program has been going! See you all soon!

It’s Independence Day! And what a way to celebrate American independence with a little bit of my own! I’m down to 300 pounds. That’s 20 pounds gone in about a month. I am hoping that it will pick up a little faster later on, too. It would be nice to see myself in a two piece again before October rolls around. I’m not completely sure that I am actually ready for that, but who knows. My girlfriends have been really supportive of my so far, and it’s been great to have people backing me up. One of my friends already called Radiant to see what it is about. I may have made a convert!
Speaking of which, I didn’t end up going this week at all. It’s been way too busy to really do anything, so I figure I will go in next week instead. I don’t think that will be a problem. When I called to cancel, the receptionist was really nice, too. Gotta love those people – They’re so friendly! That’s one thing that was another big selling point for me after I went there. The people are nice and courteous. I like to be treated like a real human, not a lab experiment, so this was good.
